Tasting Notes: Beautiful cherry robe with purplish tints. The nose is marked by the specificities of the terroir and minerality, and then some small black fruits, blackberries and kirsch notes. The attack is powerful and the mouth is well balanced and very round. The finish expresses some very tasty Kirsch, ripe fruits and Garrigue notes as for the wine made in Provence. What length! Tasting Notes: The nose is initially discreet then discloses some notes of blackberry and liquorice. Gradually, the range of aromas moves towards fiery and roasted notes. The mouth is full, recalling the same flavors. A long finish concludes the tasting with a sensation of intense wine contents, symptomatic of a great terroir, surprising by its complexity. The vineyards are isolated, surrounded by fields and woods, allowing Pascal Aufranc to practice sustainable agriculture without potential interference from neighbors less concerned about protecting the environment.
Tasting Notes: Deep multi-dimensional ruby robe. The nose is rich and complex dominated by obscure notes of black berries, roasted notes and stones. The mouth is dense and has a floral feel of violet flowers and has a progressive quality on the palate. The finish is long and lasting. Pairing: Coq au vin, poultry and game birds.
