The vineyards are located on a round hill, 300m above sea level, with clay soil rich in potassium, yellow sands (tufa), shells and coral fossils. Green harvest in early summer. Aged for 3 years in both traditional barrels and French barriques.
Tasting Notes: Deep ruby red color with garnet reflections, ripe berry aroma, sweet tobacco, coffee and dark chocolate. Elegant, with silky tannins, refined finish of mineral notes and a touch of vanilla. Long and well balanced, with a round body. Pairing: Red meat, deer, wild boar and grilled pork.
