The approximately 15 acres of the Clos de l'Eglise vineyard are located on the right bank of the Dordogne river, 18mi from Bordeaux and only 1.5mi from the famous plateau of Pomerol. 12-18 months of barrel aging.
Tasting Notes: A very pleasant Lalande wine in a rather modern stylewith a distinct ruby color, along with aromas of ripe fruits, soft spices and subtle oak. After a fresh beginning, the palate becomes round and pulpy; tannins and oak respect the fruit. Pairing: Red meat, game and cheese.
